Floridalais-georgialainen riffikolossi aloitti elämänsä vuonna 2004 ja vietti ensimmäiset vuodet tukevasti marginaalimetallin turvallisessa ja lämpöisessä sylissä. Noin nelivuotiaana jokin muuttui. Bändin albumi Meanderthal alkoi samaan huomiota tahoilta kuten Pitchfork ja bändin hienoilla melodioilla kuorrutettu riffijyrä taitaakin juuri nyt tasapainotella lopullisen valtavirtaläpimurron partaalla.

TORCHE, the four-pronged Floridian/Georgian riff colossus, are set to release their new full length release, Harmonicraft, on April 27th, 2012 on new label, Volcom Entertainment. TORCHE have been steamrolling the underground-metal scene since their 2004 inception. Eventually outlets like Pitchfork, Spin, Paste and Stereogum started piling praise upon the band for their super heavy yet totally accessible brand of melodic metal. TORCHE soon found themselves on top of the underground metal heap, not to mention plenty of Year-End lists.

They are on the edge of a big-time breakthrough.
