Mama Longhorn is a band from Pori in Western Finland. Its music scene is particularly fecund for a small town and some bands hailing from the town are international cult favorites, like Circle and Pharaoh Overlord. The members of Mama Longhorn play in Magyar Posse, Kuusumun Profeetta, Salaneuvosto, Low Life Rock’n'Roll Philosophers, Eleanoora Rosenholm, none of which have anything to do with the band’s psychedelic afrorock.
